I have also been looking at the Pearl Pro Live stuff, but the inferior drum module scares me off (even if I'm not going to use the actual module sounds). Now I'm considering the Extreme Drum Triggers (I have Ludwig Legacy set up in my studio, but the room is not good enough to record them) but I need to solve the hi-hat and cymbal issue and I'm completely lost there. First I had my eyes on the Roland TD-30KV but I tried it out in a shop and wasn't that impressed. I want something as close to an acoustic feeling as possible and been looking at all sorts of solutions. I only need it to, in the best way possible, transfer midi information to my computer. That said, I'm not interested in a drum module with tons of presets and pre-recorded sounds. I'm looking at buying an e-drum setup to use mainly with Addictive Drums and other virtual software. Guess there are a lot of these kind of questions popping up.
